As the days finally get longer and the sun chases the cold back up north my frozen heart slowly opens its tired eyes to find beauty and colour wherever it’s sleepy gaze wanders A million shades of green burst from timid buds in silent victories Diligent bees visit the first flowers each one a little masterpiece of colour and sweet fragrance
Each day the master’s brushstroke gets a little stronger the colours get a little brighter your skin a little warmer your eyes a little greener your kiss a little sweeter
Spring is here and it brought life back to nature and love back to my heart
